  • I really, really hate price match at walmart. I think it's just the attitude of the people who work in the ones in my area. Have trouble every

    time.

  • I love the un-extreme approach :) Not a big fan of walmart. Long lines and bad customer service make it too much of a hastle. (At least in my area.) Maybe this could make the trip worth it :) Thanks hip2save!

  • @fredloftonab thank you for this!! i work at walmart as well and it sux when people argue with you. but at the same time people are also dumb and dont read their coupons before they try and use them :( retail is hell, i tell ya! lol

  • As an employee of Walmart myself, I have discovered that other places have lower prices than walmart and they piss me off when you can only use one coupon per item. Price matching is nice, but I have used coupons at CVS and Walgreens and have gotten items cheaper there.

  • go to another Walmart with the coupon and use it there instead

  • I don't know how the people waiting in line will like me price matching everything I get. I can see alot of MAD faces. I get that when I take coupons. ugh.

  • And if the coupons do not match the items you are trying to buy I have an issue. 9 times out of 10 when that happens, the customer wants to argue about it even though they are in the wrong. If my register rejects your coupon and I see that it matches the purchase I will override it. If it doesn't match, don't get mad at me when I say no.

  • @califrontiers if you think all male cashiers are going to have no issues with you using coupons I can tell you that you are absolutely wrong. I have no issues with a customer using 30 VALID coupons on their purchase as long as they are doing it responsibly. When I have people trying to use 30 coupons that have a 4 per transaction limit and want to break up their transactions, I'm going to have an issue.

  • I notice if you avoid the Walmart and Target women cashiers and take your coupons to the Walmart and Target male cashiers; they do not have a problem with coupons. They seem to love it and if an error occurs while scanning they will look at the coupon or call over the manager. In dealing with Walgreens and CVS the cashiers (no matter there gender) get excited for coupons. Cashiers need to read their corp. coupon policy before they become the coupon police.

  • @gapeach8600 I am a cashier and while I understand your sentiment but those coupons are much like a contract if you look at the fine print and it said to do it this way. I have to do it that way. (and also @deannavlogs If I made policy I wouldn't be on a register LOL Upper management makes the policy I don't) can you give an example of what coupon you used?
