August 1986 HBO promos!

**NOTE: Forgive the noise at the beginning; I didn't want to make this file larger than it needed to be by publishing it again.**


Here are some vintage HBO promos from about August of 1986. They feature:
1.HBO in Space intro (we start at the tail end of the fog, so it's the long intro!)
2.Ratings bumper (an R-rated film, so we get the "HBO will show this feature only at night" spiel!)
3.Columbia Pictures bumper (for Fright Night)
4.Next On for Arthur with Dudley Moore
5.HBO Summer Celebration featuring Commando, National Lampoon's European Vacation, Volunteers, Just One of the Guys, Weird Science, Fright Night, sports, Billy Crystal, 1st and Ten, Not Necessarily the News, and a fall preview.
6.HBO video Nostalgia segment with an old Universal news reel segment.
7.National Lampoon's European Vacation
8.All of Me with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin
9.HBO Summer Celebration spot (with guys on a truck?)
10.Warning that HBO can only be seen by paying for it.
11.HBO in Space intro (now it's the shorter one)
12.Ratings bumper (PG)
13.Orion/Warner Bros logos (with music)

I distinctly remember this summer--I had, for many years, a tape of the movie "Creepshow" that I set the timer to record in the early morning hours of Aug. 4th, and watched it over and over again, HBO bumpers and all.  It's gone, now :(
