  • % months reading hex dumps? I would probably shoot myself! Thanks for the hard work Rob.

  • gnash is awesome! Finally we can escape from adobe's evil licensing. I want to see if I can strip off flash lite 3 and replace it with gnash configured for an envirnment with memory and space constraints, such as my chumby, maybe someone can give advice into doing such thing.

  • @tcadroas Can Adobe prove it?

  • THANKS ROB!!!

  • Great guy.

  • Support them, I would.

  • Rob Savoye sounds like a kid! He's also involved with the Rainbow Family. Very Cool!

  • Yes, I've installed it too, otherwise I would help. :-(

  • What would be even cooler is once Gnash is stable, if GNU goes one step further and makes a program to create .swf files. Then .swf might be an open standard, and Adobe would lose the battle. Although that's just my pipe dream.

  • It's not like they have any Adobe source code. They're working from the ground up, and it's pretty good for what it is right now.
