Starting out in first gear is the hardest part about learning to ride a motorcycle for the first time. I give you a couple tips and explain how I learned to operate the clutch and throttle to get clean starts every time.
I recorded this video right before work, so I was a little rushed. I hope it's helpful. If anybody has any questions, feel free to leave a comment.

  • Does this work with 50cc mopeds?

  • @MWFanz If they have a clutch and manual transmission...

  • Thanks for the info. I used the technique and was very helpful today. Yesterday I stalled about 10 to 20 times and was getting frustrated. But today with the help you gave me I didn't stall once. Thanks again for the help I was able to ride without any problems and was able to really enjoy the ride.

  • @valeodude27 That's good to hear. In a couple of weeks it'll be second nature. Ride safe.
