Olympic show jumping champion Eric Lamaze's horse Hickstead died during a World Cup event Sunday, after collapsing to the ground and writhing in pain inside a packed arena
RIP

it wasn't because they were pushing him, my horse had a heart-attack and died it wasn't because we pushed her too hard. It just happend. Like a person, they can just be random. Don't blame it on the owners, it wasn't there falt at all.

I was crying for almost 2 hours after I saw that live. He did a good jumping course. R.I.P hicksded you will be loved. Poor Eric.

@3000horsecrazy MOST OF THESE ANNOUNCERS WHO DON'T RIDE ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS. THEY NEVER PRONOUNCE ANYONE'S NAME CORRECTLY. MOST OF THE TIME THEY DON'T KNOW THE CORRECT TERMS AND SUPERSTITIONS OF THE HORSE WORLD. SO THEY PRETTY MUCH BLOW IT ALL OF THE TIME.

@TumisHumis okay I mis under stood that but still Hickstead was anamazing horses and many people loved him. When the aunouncer said that well... dih we will have a long break untill the next horse! It was just odd that he was worried about the rest of a show when a legend is dying

@3000horsecrazy Wasn't insinutating that you only spent time on youtube, I was saying that animals die every day, if you spend half an hour outside you'll see it. I don't understand how horse lovers' brains work, I can see loving to ride them, but they're slave animals, as any other. If a horse is bred to ride and jump, and is pushed to do so, the result will be death. Every time.
