York Ghost Walk

When I went to (old) York I took a "ghost walk" tour. Typically ghost walks are meant to be scary, but our guy was pretty funny, making us laugh all the way. The video is of the last minute of the tour and then I included a picture of him making one of his stranger faces. The "rails" were bars sticking just a couple inches up from the ground, and, as it was getting dark, they were easy trip over. I didn't realize that my camera was set to record only one minute at a time so the last two words he said were cut off. After "I thank you, and" he said "good night." If anyone goes over to York I strongly recommend that they go on a ghost walk. This one only cost 5 pounds per person. About the equivalent to $10, and it was well worth it.

Ah yes, a trip to York just isn't the same without a ghost walk. This one was the first I ever went on so the video, short though it is, brings back lots of good memories.

I came to York on a School Trip from Fife and we stayed in York for 3 nights. As a treat the teachers took us all out to go on this Ghost Walk and I can honestly say it was the most scary, surreal, exciting, eeriest experience I have ever been in and I loved every minute of it. We were only 8 or 9 at the time and now I'm 19 and I can remember it as if it were yesterday. Good times. You'll like it though

The dungeon staff were hilarious, I remember one of them got fired for leading a load of people down an alley, leaving them there, then coming back and yelling BOO! They all complained so he got fired!!!
