  • i need help how do i connect and configure my midi keyboard with milkytracker? someone?

  • @Chrissss698 if you're using windows; click the little milk carton in the up-left corner of the milkytracker window. Then select "Preferences..." and select your MIDI input device. Be sure to check both the "Enable MIDI device" and the "Save MIDI settings" before pressing "Ok".

  • why cant i make my song longer? it goes to 30ish and repeats

  • @RawrCars

Use multiple patterns or change the length of the pattern. The most common way is to create multiple patterns and arrange them in the playlist editor (the list box in the top left corner).

  • iv got a few questions

    1. when I load in samples, and use another track, they all use the sample in the 0 spot at the top, I can't get one track to be square, another tri etc.

    2. what are the numbers going from left to right, I know the first one must be volume after controlling it, but there's 2 other I'm a little clueless aobut. One seems to adjust the speed or something for those NES sound effects, but really i have no idea lol

    Thanks

  • @Jordo54321

    1. To assign multiple samples to one instrument, go to instrument edit, select the sample you want and click the notes on the keyboard you want to assign the selected sample to.

    2. Check out the "Effect command reference" part of the milkytracker manual.

    Hope that helps :)
