"Yesh?"
"Nick, it's my catchphrase!"
"You have a catchphrase?"
"Yesh, yesh I do." I smiled and he laughed at me.
"You know, you make this so much easier then Mr. Phrats does, right?"
"I know, before my dad became a drunk he was a smart and intellegent man, and he taught all of us that, he started to teach Micah, but stopped once our mother-" I caught myself and almost broke-down in tears. I took a deep breath, and looked at Nick. He had a worried look on his face.
"So now, that was your last problem, we still painting?"
"Yeah, but will you ever tell me what happened to your mom?"
"Maybe." I gathered my stuff up. He started to pick all his stuff up, and then he stopped spun me around and kissed me. He put his right hand on my hip pulling me towards him, and his left hand on my neck. I put my hands on his head, running them through his hair. I could feel his lips curling into a smile. He ran his tongue over my bottom lip and I let him in. He started to explore my mouth, & I explored his. We heard the door handles trying to be opened so I pulled away right before Kevin bursted in.
"Nick, is that lip-gloss on your lips?" He said trying not to laugh. He put his hand up to his mouth and wiped it off as I stared at the ground embarrassed.
"Can I help you Kevin?" Nick stared down his older brother.
"Yes, have you seen my cell-phone I swore I laid it down on the table when we got home." He smirked as if nothing was wrong. Nick looked around, found Kevin's phone and tossed it to him. "Thanks little bro. Hey Cassy, do you know what time I need to pick up Brianna?"
"Ummm... she said she was coming over here, so I don't think you have to pick her up."
"Ummm... okay, thanks bye." He started to walk off when I remembered.
"Kevin, a girl named Kelly told me to tell you hey." He stopped.
"Kelly who?" I don't know her last name...
"I don't know, she said you were her best friend, and she is apparently Mitchel's Girl-friend, so I'm not sure..."
"Oh, Kelly, Kel-kel!?" Nick & Kevin exclaimed... Kel-kel... Wow
"So, you do know her?"
"Oh, yeah, tell her I said hey back will you."
"Sure, bye." I grabbed Nick's hand and he pulled me up to him room. All the really big stuff was out in the hall, which was very crowded, and the floor was cover in news papers. There were 3 cans of paint in the middle of the room 2 paint holders, 2 brushes, and 2 rollers. I took off my favorite purple converse, and laid them outside Nick's door. He pulled off his red converse and put them beside mine and rolled up his sleeves which had unrolled themselves. He opened the paint and accidently flung green paint all over me. So I flung so dark blue back at him. He chased me around the room till he pinned me against the wall with a paint brush covered in dark blue paint in his hand, and a smudge of black on his cheek,
"To get out un-painted, will cost you 5 kisses."
"Why 5?"
"1 for each school day I didn't get to kiss you." He smirked.
"Nick you just asked me out, what Wednesday?!"
"I know, but I still want 5 kisses for a blue-less Cassy."
"Fine, come here." He leaned in and right before I kissed him I tried pulling the paint brush from his hand and started swinging it around, when I was unsuccessful. I ended up cover in paint, & Nick with this big glob in he curls. I gave him his 5 kiss and he hugged me. After about another hour or two later we had the first & second coat on the walls and we had painted which color where it was suppose to go, and it was only 6:35. Denise, had ran us some dinner up, when Nick told her we wanted to eat in his room. We had some Pizza. We were almost done when he asked something I had totally forgotten about till now.
"So, can you tell me what exactly happened with you, Brianna & Ian?" He looked at me with caring eyes. I sighed because I can't refuse his face.
