In August 2010, the SRA ruled that ACS:Law had "a case to answer" regarding its campaign against suspected copyright infringement, and would refer the case to the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. It is the third disciplinary tribunal for Crossley. It is expected that the tribunal will deliver its judgement by the end of 2011.

Conversely, most people end up buying the stuff they like anyway despite having downloaded it for free beforehand. You see its one thing to watch 10+ films for free, but if you had to pay for each one, how many films would you have watched?

Downloading music "illegally" doesn't breach copyright as long as the downloader doesn't generate any income from doing so. ie the downloader cannot profit from someone else's work.

The companies assume that they have lost revenue due to illegal file sharing, this is not the case because most people wouldn't have paid for it had paying for it been the only option to obtain it. It is because it is free that it gets distributed, for that is its considered worth.

He's not the only one. Legal terrorism is occurring everywhere. Imagine sharing your idea of how a song sounds via a blog only to have these parasites attack a regular guy who runs the blog and threaten him with costly legal fees and court appearances until he takes the site down. We're talking about your interpretation, not actual music. No, you are NOT innocent till they prove you guilty. You are in fear of losing everything because they are distorting laws and terrorizing common citizens.
