  • Hey steady on, with the references to age. I am only 53 but had this record up to just a few years ago. Loved it then and still enjoy it today. So thanks for up-loading it. Nice record. I will have it. Lol. I get a record player with it as well do I. Oh how things change. Years ago we had to buy the record player separate. Now you get one free with the record.

  • Wow, I didn't know they were pressing 78's as late as 1956. I thought all vinyl producers had switched to 45 or 33 by that time.

  • Just magical !!!!!!!

  • Jesus! "Singing the Blues" and "Sea of Heartbreak" are the two songs that remind me of my childhood more than any other songs. Too bad that hearing them make me so damned sad.

  • This song was number one in 1956

  • Con Ray Conniff

  • This is the first song I can remember relating to, and truly loving. I was 5, and made my poor mom play it over and over on that little 45rpm player of ours. And it has never fallen out of my all time top ten favorites. The older I get, the more I find myself being drawn to that era of the early to mid 50's....B.E. (Before Elvis) They evoke such fond memories of a happier and simple time.

  • Great song. I can still picture this song playing on small transistor radios at the beach in Florida in the 50's as a kid.
