i agree totally, MAXAMPS sucks nuts. for the same money you spend on 1 max amps battery you can buy 2-3 china brand batts and get the 3X the run time.

I am telling you...get some LPR Prolines on crimefighters or bowties and it will own this track. Best purcahse I ever made.

maxamps batteries are the worse i've ever tested in my life. they work 5 cycles and then they went in down. I'll never buy another maxamps never mind

Yep - Running an external BEC and a 25mm 5V fan on it.

What's it going into? Mine is 5 cells. I had to mod the controller to take the 18 + volts. The Mamba Max is only rated for 3S but with the right mods it will run 4S easily. I'm pushing the edge with the 5S pack.
