I didn't build my Long EZ. I bought it already built. It sure is a fun airplane to fly.

Nope, not a misses approach. I make a low level, high airspeed pass each time I come in to land. Then I pull up sharply to the downwind for the landing pattern. That scares off any birds that might be on the runway. It also gives me a good prespective on the wind direction and speed and any other problems that might affect the landing. Being an old fighter pilot I learned long ago that you can't be too careful. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
