  • imagine Romina Basso doing this aria............

  • @jovi1715 It would be the "Non plus ultra"...Or even better...Sonia Prina singing it :D

  • I am so glad to hear a few extra people doing this aria. I only have two complaints for this recording. The coloratura sometimes gets away from her and her onsets of certain areas of her voice (mix register) often sound like a barking frog.

  • @CountertenorJ This singer (Marta Infante) Sounds more masculine than the ridiculous caricature of a hero that Ragin's and other cts made of this aria, I insist on my point, even the worst female voices (and this is not that case because Infante's timbre is really awesome) are far better and more credible in castrato roles than cts :)...By the way you got blocked for annoying me. Look for another channel to watch videos.

  • Nice voice.

  • Sheilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Both interpretations are equally beautiful.

  • I'm a huge fan of Derek Lee Ragin, but I am SO glad to hear such a polished and confident interpretation as this.
