combie tool are good for volunteer fire depts who cant afford 2 different tools. i personally like to have seperate tools u can use the spreaders to raise vehicle while u can use cutters to cut whatever needs cutting but i wish we had a combination tool as well as our spreaders and jaws

@fireman1 Hey, maybe an Amish guy in a horse and carriage are going 100mph down the freeway, and gets into an accident. Always want to be prepared :P

@Prentice71 yea. our rescue has the 2 separate tools, plus some rams, but on one of our pumpers we have a "roadrunner" combo tool. its half the size of the spreader.

actually the jaws do a combination of things. Pinch spread and cut.
