This isn't what the Eastern Orthodox Christian church believes. We believe that after the Ressurection, we no longer inherited original sin. We believe in Salvation through faith AND good works.... if you're searching for Eastern Orthodox Christianity, look elsewhere...

um well I'd say this is vague but I guess thats the point...anyway Orthodox dont believe in original sin the same way as Roman Catholics do. We are seperated from God by sin yes but when we are born we arent born "sinful" although we have the potential to sin. Just thought that slide was a little misleading. Also you must be or have been baptised in the name of the Trinity to become a member of the Orthodox church & then receive Chrismation through the Orthodox Church.

this isnt all orthodox....the no baptism is an idea that only came into affect the last 200 years

The beliefs sound identical to evangelical Christian beliefs.

Hi paisleyyama,
yes - by Orthodox I meant that these beliefs would represent the core of Christian Theology. I didn't mean specifically the Orthodox Church.
