  • One of THE MOST under-rated films of the 90's. The cinematography, the direction, the performances, the music, the costumes... this film is visually perfect in every concievable way!!!

  • Madonna was GREAT on this movie. Madonna begged for this role and what did she do? acted it out BRILLIANTLY and won a golden globe for best actress. yes there were other movies that she came out in and weren't so good. but i know she didnt beg for those other roles. Madonna is now rumored to play another role that she herself wants to portray and thats Wallis Simpson. google it. hopefully she will play that role in the future.

  • She created Take a Bow and You'll See just for this role.

  • Madonna was good in this film. The one time she was able to let go, be natural and be in the moment.

  • I don't like the trailer, but the movie's excellent!

  • PERFECT MOVIE

    GODDES MADONNA

  • This trailer looks older than the 90's

  • You MUST love Madonna :)

  • she's Queen of Pop..a Living Legend :D

  • Queen Of POP

this marvelous woman has sold over 350 million records

she has the most charted worldwide number one songs in the history of mankind.. more than elvis, the beatles.

she holds the record for the highest grossing tour by any solo artist in history.

she stars in the academy award winning films Evita, Dick Tracy and the british academy award winning Desperately Seeking Susan.

    The Immaculate Queen of POP.

    1979 -2010 and counting..

  • @Magnolia296 Alan Parker was nominated for a Golden Globe, but he didn't win. Milos Forman won that year for THE PEOPLE VS. LARRY FLYNT.

That said, I think EVITA should've garnered a Costume Design Oscar nomination. I was surprised when it wasn't nominated for that. ENGLISH PATIENT won that year. Both films take place around the same time so I don't know why one would get a nod and the other didn't.
