Ten Rounds with an SKS

Exactly what the title says! Ten rounds with an SKS. Yugoslavian model firing Golden Tiger FMJ steel cartridge.
Why?
Because I felt like recording it! :D
That, and I always wanted to see what the action looked like during live fire up close from the side. The conclusion: fast.

Also!
I'm firing using the actual sights of the rifle, the scope is being used for spotting purposes only. The scope mount is hollow, so I can look though the mount and see down the sights properly. I take a shot, and peek up through the scope to see where it went, then adjust myself accordingly.

hey How are the Peep sight systems for your SKS? i was thinking about getting one for mine, but i want the one that mounts on the side of the recever, hows yours work out for you? ive heard mixed feelings.

@JDK1981 The peep scope? It's alright. It isn't a particularly complex thing. The mount is a complete aftermarket rear cover with a hollow mount so you can use the irons by looking under the scope. However given the nature of the SKS rear cover it does not hold a zero at all, so it really is only good for a peep scope and not much for accuracy. It's a handy thing though, I use it for checking round placement when firing outside a range that I could otherwise easily see target impact.

also i was wondering...i have a russian sks and my bolt carrier is black.. why is yours silver/grey?

@rassi13 That is just how it was made. The carrier is bare steel, maybe yours is painted/coated.
