U.S. Correspondent Michael Brissenden takes you behind the scenes of an Intriguing Foreign Correspondent program 'In the Chocolate City. Brissenden and cameraman Louie Eroglu venture deep into the Washington badlands and into the heart of the frenetic Go Go scene for this assessment of the Obama Presidency on an historically neglected and deprived African-American community. They find a strange blend of optimism and impatience amid the driving, defining and utterly unique Go Go scene. Featuring a candid encounter with former mayor Marion Barry. This is one of six summertime 'making of' shorts recalling Foreign Correspondent's 2010 called 'Notes From The Road'.
