Ringo........... just go write a song and put it on the fridge

its riiiiiiiingo!!!

Let's estimate he has 250,000 fans worldwide who would like his autograph. He is an old man who has deserved some rest at least, and he cannot respond to maybe more than 50 letters a day, when he has no other work to do. Do some a-hole people think any other megastar could do any better? Like Paul said, Ringo's only fault is his honesty.
About some fans I would like to know, are they evil or are they just stupid?

This is kind of a disappointment. I was planning on writing to Mr. Starr; Igoogled his address, and found this. I was under the impression that he still dutifully replied to all of his mail. I can't blame him for stopping, but it's still sad.
I guess I'm writing to Paul McCartney now...

This is hilarious.

Kidding, no. Being facetious, yes.
On one hand I feel for the guy being a prisoner of his now-distant past, but on the other hand making such a proclamation at this point in his career does leave him vulnerable for all sorts of ridicule.
Kudos to Mr. Starr for being the first Beatle to address his fans directly through YouTube, though!

Exactly, he has been. Let him relax.

omg he talks to hes fans like they are mental. he thinks he can just turn hes fans off like a switch. "thanks you earnt me £300 million pounds now fuck off". so out of touch these people. but what do i know right.!!!
