I guess they're plucking their strings in this interpretation as well.. In the Graffman/bernstein, you mainly hear the plucking, not the clarinet

there are no adequate words to describe how beautiful this piece played out. The strings and the piano absolutely blend together flawlessly. I agree with ahonda55. Right around 10:00, the music peaked with such an avalanche of emotion yet Grimaud performed with just the perfect restraint. unlike so many other artists displaying with over the top showmanship, she simply ties her hair back, no flashy outfit, definitely refreshing to see Grimaud with such pristine and angelic talent.
