  • Wait.. so if this is this one, which is the one that goes "So that was it. The source of tears and the pain that caused them. This time he had built more than a machine. He had sent more than a robot to battle.

He had sent a man, his own son, to do the impossible, to save those who could not be saved, to die." because those lyrics came up when I searched lyrics for this song, which this one clearly has none of...

  • Theres more then just lyrics to this CD. Theres a story. Thats just whats happening in the story, not the lyrics.

  • Hmmm... I must ask (and I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question): which is the song that describes Dr. Light building Mega Man with his own hands in a fit of sorrow and anger? I could've sworn it was this one, and yet it isn't. Can anyone help me out?

  • Its the first song on the CD, Hope rides alone. I was originally only going to upload this song, but Ill upload the others soon.

  • why are there like no lyrics???

  • Because its a funeral march. Marches normally dont have lyrics.

  • Oh wow. This is freakin' amazing.

It would've been awesome if The Protomen were able to use Proto Mans' actualy theme song and somehow incorporate it into this song.

  • @rockmandude4 Yeah, the Protomen use that phrase in more than one of their songs. Also, the main pipe theme is incorporated into a majority of the songs on this album

  • This song is going to be played at my funeral.

  • @thejobloshow Keiji Inafune is sort of like the Protomen's interpretation of Proto Man (and later Mega Man). He was their hero, but left them out of disdain for the lack of courage and the complacency he saw in the Japanese video game industry.

  • @NekoKohaku Hey, that's neat! I gotta check out more operas! (or at least rock operas - although maybe traditional operas are more enjoyable than they're stereotyped to be...)

  • @shadowxtv He allowed the tears to pour from his cheeks and mingle with the blood seeping from the cuts in his torn and battered hands. He had set out to use these hands to destroy his workshop but he now watched as they seemed to be creating of their own accord. Pieces of machine from the floor were seized and fused. They began to take form - the form of anger, the form of his guilt, the form of his grief, the form of his love, the form of a son.)

  • @HalcyonCross it is this one In the liner notes. Hope rides alone is about the death of Protoman.(

  • @thejobloshow completely agreed T-T not only did they kill megaman, but they ALWAYS preferred ryu to megaman...

  • @HalcyonCross you got the wrong info you are looking for Unrest In The House Of Light

  • @alfonzelrick the first song was about building protoman not mega man

  • @rockmandude4 That's how operas work. Especially rock operas. Motifs from songs are incorporated into other songs, based off the themes the production is exploring.
