Very Nice! .... You play Bach very well.

You are an extremely talented musician. That you are 14 is absolutely remarkable and you clearly have the potential to be a superior performer. Keep going!!! Remember, much of the negative criticism written here is very similar to remarks made about the playing of Glenn Gould. So, do not let these faceless pundits intimidate you or make you feel poorly...I am certain very few of them could play as well as you do now.

@AtobeKeichan -- listen to Martha Argerich's version. She articulates the lines more clearly, there is a greater sense of where, in the texture, each line is exactly. Bach's polyphony can't really be appreciated unless each voice's articulation is properly contrasted against the others'.
Excellent playing for fourteen.

@trevjr i like your advice but why is it when you do try and tell a story with the music/make music/create dynamic contrasts etc the examiners say "there was a lovely sense of musicality but the Bach lacked its usual style" (and fail you)?
It's just not true that musicality and sensitive playing is more important than playing as fast as you can.

you dont need pedal for this. bring out left hand more. listen to how gould does it. dont rush in hard parts.more dynamic contrast..remember that the right hand will be louder because the tones are higher, so sometimes you have to let the left hand take the lead for contrast. try playing the whole thing at pianissimo, jeez do i sound like a teacher? anyway just try it or some. you have the chops, so now make music.

omg, you are all pathetic. Why picking on a girl who played this piece so great. So maybe the dynamics aren't the best, so what. If you think you can do better, go ahead and try. And sure you don't forget to post a video of it on youtube!
Anyway, I really like what you played and you are really, really good!

@TheLiza1977 It also returns at about 4:00. It should be a C natural. Incidentally, I have a couple of my recordings of this on my channel from various performances.

She masters the technicality but the musicality is still left to developed. Compare this to Perahia and you understand what I am pointing at. Where is the legato?
-
@Rani9000 I think because it's on piano she's just trying to make it sound more harpsichordy.
ok... don't hate me but I seriously think that this piece is not a very good one. The technical bit was awesome and that's really good, but I guess there's not enough dynamics and that it sounds too rigid and mechanical.
