One BIG Danger in your prawns dish is your cover the biryani with a plastic wrap.
WARNING > > NEVER NEVER USE PLASTIC WRAP. it melts on food causing cancer. Never use any plastic container also in Microwave oven. It is dangerous to health. This girl must be very young to be health conscience. The rest of the dish is fine if you really want to cook your prawns biryani in a microwave. But please omit the plastic wrap part all who are watching. OTHERWISE ITS A GOOD DISH.

You do exactly what you said you shouldn't - you overcooked the prawns. The size you use only need 2-3mins frying time in total. I would add them AFTER the oil has separated.

guys i don't accept this recipe name, I accept however she cook this, it is excellent but this is not Prawn or Shrimp Biryani. Biryani will give different taste, This recipe showing cook the curry differently and mix with rice. Most of the guys mentioned it is simple, yes i agree it is simple but if you follow this procedure you wont get richness of Biryani taste. Sorry if i hurt any one
but prawn sm times smell alot--what can we do abt it?any solution

After cleaning the prawns,always wash it with few drops of lemon juice OR rub little flour(aata) on them and rinse well.smell will go.

What exactly is the difference bw prawns and shrimp?

Taste wise prawns and shrimps are almost same,only difference is that prawns are considered to be larger while shrimp are smaller.
