Well depends how you look at it, They own Volvo car, but thats just 1 out of 12 (not sure) Volvo groups. So thats how i look at it but yes i will not argue you are right

@Izoul Oh Chinese are currently building a Volvo plant in their own country. Chinese are primarily interested in the construction / truck division of Volvo which they plan on competing with American Caterpillar and Kenworth in. Currently where the world is heading, I don't like it either, Chinese have no EPA or, environmental concerns and their heavy industry is accelerating. They are building and placing into operation on average one coal fired electrical plant per week.

@Izoul Ford sold Volvo to the Chinese in Aug 2010. Jaguar to the East Indians around the same time, Don't know what happened to Range Rover though ?
