Globalization has prompted some third world countries to open free trade zones, areas where businesses receive special tax benefits for operating factories. This program looks into free trade zones in Sri Lanka, El Salvador, Mexico and Morocco, exposing human rights abuses common to these regions, such as the exploitation of low-paid women workers, mass firings prompted by attempts to unionize, substandard living conditions - and the high profits reaped by companies operating in there.
