The Master in Tourism programme at the Mid Sweden University concentrates on Destination development, including nature- and culture resources and the challenges of the experience society.

The programme covers themes such as seasonality, tourism in protected areas, heritage tourism, eco-tourism, resource management, indigenous peoples and planning for tourism.
An internship is included in the program, so that practical experiences in the tourism sector can be collected.
