I think that Young Ned of the Hill is one of the finer Pogues songs.

I've always loved this song,and indeed it has taken me on a voyage of discovery.
Without it, I doubt if I would have discovered The Dubliners,Sweeneys Men.Planxty,Christy Moore, or indeed the sublime music of Mr Woods himself!.
