It sounds a more in a tune of a "soothing" song to me, other than the words on of the shabad.

Our guru's gave us kirtan in the form of raags, but why are we going away from our Guru's command and starting our own "styles" of kirtan? Is it that we don't like doing kirtan in raags, which was given by our gurus?
