Matthew P. Hoh, Director, Afghanistan Study Group and Senior Fellow, Center for International Policy, speaks about "how do we end America's longest war?"
McKay's preface makes several comparative assertions about 1) our involvement with Afghanistan vs. our involvement with Vietnam and 2) the (?)guesstimated(?) cost of healthcare reform (JUST two examples), which don't necessarily apply. Our involvement w/Vietnam was from 1956 to 1974 (18 years) and the "cost" of healthcare reform could be anything... including a net savings.
Will continue & finish watching the video... but EXPECT those assertions will not apply to what follows.
