@101ers77 some architects work only with scale models because its more difficult to make 2d sketchets for their buildings without having made a model...and of course they cant make 3d sketches for all of their works from the beggining and i mean complicated works like what toyo ito is drawing....

Real Architects don't need scale models to conceptualize. Scale models are used to present projects to laymen not to conceptualize. Good Architects use 3D software while great Architects will make do with 2D sketches to conceptualize ideas. Only dumb-no sense of Engineering Architects like Gehry use scale models in conceptualizing designs.

gehry's great. although he should have take some aspect into consideration, like surrounding. but i think his work is a piece of art and thats what makes it uniquely him. i love his work!
