This makes it even clearer to me why I loved "Gregory's Girl" and "That Sinking Feeling" so much. Guys like him revive my faith in humankind.

A nice, self-effacing guy who makes terrific films. Housekeeping is amazing. So glad to see the well-deserved piece in the NYT.

An intriguing look at an important figure in Scottish film, I love the idea of the puddled path of life, I've had the same sort of situation myself many a time! Excellent!
