if the fish takes a slip bobber you wont know you have a fish on? thats why you add split shot so the bobber is barely above the water so if a fish takes it down it goes down easy but if the fish comes up the bobber will rise higher in the water

The Bobber With A Brain actually locks the line inside the bobber. It slips untill the Sinker hits the bottom. Then the bobber tilts and locks the line. Our BWAB doesn't go under to show a bite, it tilts. Makes it very sensitive. Give them a shot, they are a blast! -Roy M BTT
