  • Hey, thanks for the comment, I know colour-coded wipers and wing mirrors aren't everyone's festy cuppa. ;) '88 model = Series II, GT-S = US delivered with a G-series engine. Having said that your pollution controls are probably a heap different than a standard 1st Gen 3S-GE (Australian variant is 3S-GELU). I swapped mine over with a 3rd Gen 3S-GE (non-turbo) the same as from an SW20 MR2 or ST202 Celica (Jap version 6th Gen). The MR2 swap is all backwards. :)

  • where can i get a new tail light? :)

  • @ateewidz1 in Australia or overseas? Series 1 or Series 2? Questions that need to be answered first before making a decision, because these aren't exactly easy to get anymore. Aftermarket versions are non-existant, I've looked for ages. You may occasionally find some genuine ones up on ebay but there are very few select suppliers for these.

  • very nice car!! this is not the original engine?? seems the engine of an st182. where did you bought your body kit? it looks very cool :-)

  • @TOYOTAISMYPOWER Hey, thanks for the feedback. It's the engine from an ST202 Celica, or the same model engine from a naturally-aspirated SW20 MR-2 (1994-1999). The bodykit is from various sources like fibresports, ozkits, etc. but they're not cheap these days.

It was bog-stock about 5 years ago and I've taken it to this point right now, and probably the best it's ever looked.

  • very clean! Not a fan of painted wipers, but other than that it looks sweet. I just bought an '88 GT-S. Do you know what other N/A motors I can swap in? I don't want a GT4 swap.

  • Unusual remarks on this video once again.
