The personality that you saw in him may very well be the same as when you first met. In truth, no one knows for sure but Cuadra (and perhaps Kerekes) himself if he's actually committed the crime.

The problem with the news is a few things: 1) It's not always telling the truth, 2) It doesn't always have the correct info 3) It doesn't always have sufficient info and 4), most importantly, it only takes into account favorable BIASED info. There's always a chance that something in there is skewed.

Here's the biggest problem for me: Each sides' credibility and POV is equally valid in my eyes, for their sources are equally valid. Perhaps then my only hope of getting to the raw truth of this matter is if I speak to him and some trusty whitnesses myself.

I'm still not quite sure what the truth really is. Having only been recently informed of this going on, I received that there're tons of people who say that he was innocent and jailed for something that he did not commit to, according to those who claim to have met him or know him personally. There are then those who point to the news and events of criminal proceeding that say that he did indeed commit the murder and that he deserved every bit of it. And THEN, there's a third group (continue)...
