http://www.janson.com/television/show_program.php?pid=1181 Steam railroading is still an everyday occurrence in the sugar fields of Cuba. Ride with the Tracks Ahead team as they explore the beauty of western and central Cuba. Then itâs off to New Hampshire, to ride a portion of the remaining Maine Central Railroad, now the Conway Scenic Railway. Then meet a man whose passion is for model industries, and go to a town that has massive amounts of rail traffic â and helps the rail fans see it all.
Before anyone passes judgment on my country as a bunch of yankee hating heathens, there not coming over in boat loads for no reason. Its getting really bad over there, ask any cuban stateside, and I mean ANY cuban, they'll tell you how it is.

One of the most fascinating trips I have ever been on through "Trains Unlimited". Once in a lifetime journey into a forbidden land. I understand both sides of the political embargo/blockade, but wish it was somehow over for "all" concerned. Politics sucks regardless of whatever side you are on. Sadly, as much as the embargo has denied the country much, when it is over the 50 year "snapshot" of history will possibly make it an incredible tourist draw for the Cuban economy.
