I'm not surprised. He also said he had a pay freeze in Washington (which later proved false). January 21, 2009 President Obama's memorandum for pay freezes says: "In this challenging economic period, it is only appropriate that senior officials on the White House staff forgo pay increases until further notice."
I don't remember getting further notice. Do you? Yes, Obama lied (again).

I make less than $250K and NO I haven't seen any increase in taxes. If my electric bill goes up to stop pumping coal smoke into the air then I"m okay with that. The dipshit republicans were more than happy enough to rack up an enormous bill that we're still paying for to get several of my buddies put in body bags in Iraq for no good fucking reason. Wake up.
