Second opening is for only episode 17.

There are three openings in Macross F. Triangler,Seikan hikou,and Lion.

17話にだけ使われた2番目のオープニングがあります。

12話の「星間飛行」のシーンが好評だった為、急遽河森監督の提­案で17話のオープニングに星間飛行を使ったそうです。

中島 愛さんにも知らせていなかったので、本人も家でTVを観ててびっ­くりしたそうです。

This is not opening 3!!! there are only and I repeat ONLY 2 openings in the serial!! and that is Triangle and Lion no more and no less !
