trip to korea would have to be the most meaningful so far. we went through a few hurdles getting from tokyo to seoul, but i can definitely say it was worth it. a lot of amazing race moments both on the way to korea and in korea. it all started when we missed our flight. we got to the check in counter 7 minutes before the flight. it was hard for us because we really tried to make it on time, running up and down stairs in the train stations with all of our stuff and luggages, and then finally getting to tokyo station and taking the narita express to narita airport (approx. 1 hour). we got to the airport 30 minutes before the flight, ran to the check-in line, but only got to the counter 7 minutes before flight departure. we begged the lady to let us on the flight and said we would run, she kept making calls for us but she really couldn't help us. we were too late, and there was still a long way to go to actually get to the gate for the plane.
oh man i didn't know what to do at that moment in time, sister crying, and me just like "shit." we didn't know if we could still go to korea, but these two japanese ladies working there were extremely nice to us, helped us heaps, and were very patient with us. it was a costly lesson, but i ended up buying two new tickets for me and my sister. flight to korea was in 7 hours.
so here we are 2 hours later sitting outside the airport watching all the planes go by lol. by now we're starting to really feel the effects of the anti-nausea/motion sickness drugs we took for the flight that we were supposed to be on 2 hours ago ahaha. as the hours went by, the drowsiness only got worse. then we ate some food at the restaurant in the airport. and yeah before we knew it, it was boarding time.... .. . . .
people were already lining up to board the plane. i was getting really nervous lol, had to leave my sister in the line, needed to go pee in the toilet. and as i was peeing, trying to get rid of the anxiety, i heard a very comforting message on the loud speaker. "passengers of japan airlines flight 959.... we are expecting some turbulence during take-off. please be sure to (something about seatbelts)"... i was just standing there shaking, staring at the toilet bowl, pee still pouring out.. kinda imagining myself disappearing like the water when you flush the toilet.
just walked into that plane like a soldier getting ready to go to war... lol sif. we had to wait for about 5 planes to take off before we finally got to the runway. lol take-off was horrible in every sense of the word. the take off was fine, normal up and down action... or so i thought. and then came the turbulence they warned us about. the plane was going nuts. diving like a freaking dolphin. and then going left and right like a see-saw. the vomit kept going up and down my throat. :( korean guy on my left kept looking at me cos i kept banging my head. it felt like it was gonna explode. like boom bsshhhh boooof. i just kept drinking water to flush the vomit back down and chugging down anti-nausea and anti-spasmodic drugs. without a doubt the worst 10 minutes of my life hahaha, did you like reading? =) i am happy to say i survived.. me and the korean guy to my left kept looking at each other like "who's gonna vomit first... hmm..." what really gave me strength halfway through the flight is when they showed the weather conditions in korea.. freaking snow.. its one of me and my sister's childhood dreams.. to experience snow some day..
that's all youtube will let me put in this box. :( if anyone actually reads this, sorry i can't write much more about korea, perhaps in the next video (part 2)! so watch out for that one =D

Also skribblez I'd like to say I've always loved your vids, but it seems like this is so far removed from the roots of c-walking. Somewhere along the line this sort of branched out into a different form of dance derived from Cwalking. I'd love to see you make a slower paced video and hit some of the simpler yet more stylistic moves that we all used to seeYour skill is amazing now, but something's changed about theSTYLE Its hard to describeand I'm not hating at all. Love your stuffJust a thought.

@he4rtsp4rk i can see what you mean ^^ i will see what i can do wherever i end up next. most of these videos i try to make as quickly as possible, so i guess there's more emphasis on speed if anything. compared to tokyo, more of the cwalk videos here are faster too, some even forced :D the faster i cwalked, the less cold i felt.
but yup i will keep it in mind for the next one. thanks ^^
