yeah i know. I bought the boat without a title and had to do a homemade one. So the coast guard tag had to go. I di a little work to it though. I rebuilt the transome so now its really strong. Ive been running it for a bout 2 months and it has done really well. Its perfect for the creek and very fuel efficent and fast.

Max hp rating is 5hp my dad is the owner not up to me, its a huge fine when FWC or cops check and I have been checked. The motor is fine it does 15mph with just me in the boat. I'd never put over a 5hp on an old lowsider. 15hp 4-stroke is rediculous thats a heavy motor on a light boat

dude you gotta get a bigger motor. They will definately take it. Unless your satisfied with that. I got a 13 ft. lowsider with a 2001 4 stroke yamaha and as long as you have a little extra weight in the front it does perfect. I havent tested the speed by gps yet but im guessing it runs about 30.
