@PlaidStairs he clipped it at the back of the box and he ditches the coin when he puts the box down amongst the other coins

I'm confused as to the whereabouts of the coin that is initially tapped against the box. Is it tossed to the right hand? if so, where does it go from there? Please reply somebody, I want to perform this trick.
