This version of the song was recorded by Felix Figueroa & His Orchestra (aka Freddie Martin) for Ambassador Records in 1947. The song is over 60 years old and was written by Eddie Maxwell and Jule Styne.

For the doubter: there's definitely an intersection of Pico and Sepulveda in NY, close to the La Brea Tar Pits.

Well, Pico and Sepulveda is actually seven miles from the La Brea Tar Pits but I guess that's "close" if you're a New Yorker. ;-)
