(11.02.08) Looking back on this short, I feel like I never knew how to explain what I was trying to say with it, and recently I'm finding that it's making more sense to me. I wrote and directed this because this is how I feel on a regular basis; like someone's invading my space trying to show me meaning and purpose, trying to show me fear and love, rather than allowing me to find it for myself. In retrospect this piece might have better been titled "Negation" and it should have opened with the following quote, "Please don't tell me what love is. Let's look together and find out what love is not."
