Unfortunately, most of the new bands which have been influenced by Led Zep don't have the same finesse and the same creativity, they only kept the "heavy" side of Led Zeppelin's music.

these guys are 2 dudes, no bass and it really is not anything even being laid down. Man you guys are missing out on btter bands even from this genre that blow thease guys off the map musically. Its your endorrphines that are being held back from firing by not checking them out. These guys could not suck anymore, so overhyped,a ndits because you the listeners have no clue. the disconnect of classci eock days to now is astounding,. The rung is about as low as it can get for rock. Proof is MSG

@Scarbeam to you, not to me and i have seen all the great legendary bands and my contemporaries (i am older than you) think these guys are are sort of medfiocre to bad, just good effects (fuzz). Check out the black crowes a modern era band that is more up there with bandslike Huumble Pie , Faces, Stones, Zep, Keys are not

I don't think I've ever heard Dan and Pat play this just by themselves before, it's always been with the other two guys playing bass or keyboard or whatever. @tele757 Get off your fucking high horse and quit bashing The Black Keys.

Garage, bump, groove music by definition is soulful music. Better musicans can make in bump and grind and move with More soul . Anyone who is serious about playing music uses lots of emotions. So what separates the legends from the mediocrity--everything i just mentioned. You are born with a good technique and while it can be learned, those born with raw ability are better at their craft. Now songwriters, and arrangers..just like coaches do not have to be great at an instrument.
