I simply had to do another period drama couples montage, as soon as I heard the beautiful song "Swan Song" from "The Young Victoria" soundtrack. (Btw, wonderful soundtrack, and wonderful movie.) I focused only on the dancing couples from period dramas/movies.

ENJOY!

Fandoms and couples (in order of their first appearance):
- The Way We Live Now (Hetta Carbury, Paul Montague)
- Pride and Prejudice, 2005 (Elizabeth Bennet, Mr Darcy)
- Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera (Christine Daae, Raoul De Chagny; Christine, Phantom, just couldn't resist)
- Emma, 2009 (Emma Woodhouse, Mr Knightley)
- Onegin (Tatyana, Onegin): although they don't dance, I simply had to put them in somehow...
- Northanger Abbey, 2007 (Catherine Morland, Henry Tilney)
- The Young Victoria (Victoria, Albert)
- Lost in Austen (Amanda Price, Fitzwilliam Darcy)

Music: "Swan Song" from "The Young Victoria" soundtrack, composed by Ilan Eshkeri.

  • I hate to hurt anyone's feelings, but this is a terrible casting for Mr. Knightly!! The Emma from 1995 with Gwyneth Pathrow and Jeremy Northam is the best!

The Mr. Knightly here should remain with his friends in Mansfield Park.

Sorry, but I positively believe that Knightly was exemplified and personified by Northam. You guys should really check the 1995 Emma out.

  • @baroquemusician1 The most recent Knightley is not teh best choice, I agree. My favourite Knigtley, to be honest, is Marc Strong, but Northam is definitely great. I just thought I should give the new Emma a chance so I made these two dance in my video.;)

  • So beautiful! Lovely job. I've always loved the dance sequences in period dramas. Always makes me wanna find a good looking man, dress him up in clothes like this, and then do those old fashioned dances. Haha! We can all dream can't we?

  • Thank you for your lovely comment, Fairy!!! Oh, I agree, I have very similar fantasies.:D We need these dreams!

  • Lovely!

  • Thank you!

  • @LorienGaladriel Thanks for telling me about the other Emma. "Emma" is the BEST!!

  • Thank you for watching, and for the comment! Why black and white? To do something different with my vids, and to sort of give the feeling of a past era. I've had my share of colourful vids, so this one's different.

  • Thank you!!!

  • Beautiful vid!
