Depending on the regulations of the company the rights are aquired through this may be illegal. Most companies state that a man can not play a woman and a woman can not play a man. It is a violation and can result in fines.

@djavery This is illegal!!! Just because it went for a good cause does not mean that it is legal. You are NOT allowed to film it either. It is because of people like you and this theatre company that ROYALTIES are OUT the ROOF!!!! Thank you for giving community theatre a bad name. And TheatreHsvChris is right, you cannot do a drag version of the show.

This is a perfect example of a great show bastardized by amateurs, and yes this IS illegal. Dramatist explicitly states in the licensing agreement that no roles are to be altered with a change of gender, physical or by nature of costume. Also explicitly stated in the rights, there are to be NO drag performances. I'm assuming that you didn't even have the rights....also illegal. I would take this down before Dramatist catches wind...and shame on you for cheapening a beautiful piece of theatre!
