Nick and Jocelyn part 24

Jocelyns POV

I sat on the plane thinking about him the whole time and promising myself that I would still see him.

1 year later

It's been about 11 months since I've seen or talken to Nick. I've heard rumors that he's dating Selena Gomez but I try to forget about it. I sometimes end up hugging myself trying to hold myself together so I dont fall apart when I think about him or even hear his name. I have to forget about him though because hes probably moved on and forgotten about me.

Nicks POV

It's been 11 months since I've seen or spoken to Jocelyn. I've been dating Selena for a while but it's nothing like how I was with Jocelyn. I was laying on my bed thinking about Jocelyn when I saw Selena come in my room.

Selena: hey what are you doing?
Nick: oh nothing

I could see Selena coming in for a kiss. I had never kissed her before because whenever I think I might I think of Jocelyn.

Nick: um Selena not now
Selena: Nick when are you gonna realize that your never going to be with Jocelyn! It's been like what a year since the last time you saw or spoke to her?!?! Shes obviously moved on and you need to do the same!
Nick: maybe you should just leave!
Selena: maybe I will
Nick: good leave!
Selena: ugghhh!

I fell back on my bed and ran my fingers through my hair and thought about everything that was going on. Now I had two people that I cared about gone. One I cared about more than the other.

Jocelyns POV

I was on my bed reading a magazine and listening to the radio.

radio guy: and here is Kevin Joe and Nick with their song When you look me in the eyes

Immediately when he said his name I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I went over to the radio and shut it off. I'd had enough pain. Then my mom came in.

Mom: hey I just got a call and they want you to do a concert in California are you up for it?

As soon as she said California I immediately thought of him.

Jocelyn: umm I dont know
Mom: I thought you would be really excited Desiree and Lillian are going to be there they called and heard about the show and you could see Kevin Joe and Nick.

Another stab to the chest.

Jocelyn: Just give me time to think mom!
Mom: ok ok I'm sorry I just thought you would be more excited
Jocelyn: alright fine I'll do it
Mom: ok I'll make the call
Jocelyn: when is it?
Mom: next week

Would I really be able to do this? What if I saw him and fell apart onstage? Would seeing him with Selena just tear me apart even more? I had to go especially for my friends I couldnt let him get in the way.

Nicks POV

I was sitting on the couch when Joe came in.

Joe: hey what was up with you and Selena today? she just stormed out
Nick: Nothing
Joe: This is about Jocelyn isnt it?
Nick: It's not about Jocelyn Joe just shut up!
Joe: okkk well obviously it's Jocelyn since you just became the most defensive person
Nick: whatever Joe
Joe: well the agent just called and wanted to know if we would do a show next week
Nick: ok fine
