In an effort to "secure UK jobs", New Labour uses £270m of taxpayers money to buy the votes of Vauxhall workers, just like they did the last general election when they gave money to MG Rover.

This is another blatant attempt by New Labour to buy people's votes.

Recorded from Sky News, 12 March 2010.

  • It's also why Labour have increased the pubic sector as much as they have. Labour buy votes with taxpayers money.

  • beware of gifts from mandelson.

  • Let's not also forget the laptops given to people on benefits to 'help them find work'. Hmm. Not a bribe to buy votes with taxpayers' money, at all.

  • @WinstonSmith46 I agree, £1 in every £5 you pay to your council tax is for public sector pension entitlements. I wish i could afford to be so generous to myself.
