@05briseno I couldn't agree more. It's so hideous.

looks like a ugly hybrid

So something that has a bigger engine as well as more power is a fail these days?
It used to be the other way around years ago.

@dahgutone I know we were talking about the Si. Even without the wish bone suspension the vehicles handles just as it had it. Like I said Honda should put AWD in the car and stop chasing Scion they have been going after VW and Subaru for years performance wise and now Mazda. Si needs to grow and get with the times.
-
By AWD steering do you mean 4WS?
Yes Honda has been making AWD in cars for years as well as 4WS, but did Honda even put an AWD system in an Si? The topic is Civic Si here. Sorry If I confused you.
Double wishbones generally will have better handling capabilities than MacPhersons (if tuned right, since the Si is sport oriented, it should have a sport tuned suspension)
Honda not only switched to MacPhersons for interior volume but also costs.
Double wishbones cost more to mass produce

@dahgutone Honda tradition? Honda had AWD in cars and AWD steering. They have double wishbone suspension in the front McPherson struts don't make the car handle any different Honda got rid of the double wishbone for more room for the passengers and the ride isn't any different. Why not put the turbo in a lot of people are putting aftermarket turbos in them now whats the difference. AWD would be a step forward along with the turbo engine... Just sayin..
Honda dropped S2000, NSX, RSX, Prelude, and now this is their sportiest car in their line up? Boooooooooooooo screw you Honda!

Honda have officially americanized. The point of the Si's was never torque.. it was reving the motor above 8,000rpm to have your fun. It's not supposed to have all its power in the low rev's, and i wish reviewer's would understand that and stop bashing it for that. The 6th gen and 8th gen Si's remain my favourite, hopefully the 10th gen will see a return to form. Honda's been laying out some pretty weak game.
