Usually it's just easier to hire a party throwing team (we hired this company called party packagers and they came dressed as princesses at my sisters birthday and played games and painted faces) or rent a bouncy castle. Or even hire a guy in a suit, when I turned two we hired "Barney" and he came and played games with us!
