I know, atheist regimes have killed more people than all the "religious wars" combined. But it is better than lose your life and keep it, than to keep you life and lose it, as Jesus said. "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." can't be better put.

Not to mention the fact that guys like Marx, Lenin, and Stalin hated the church and Christianity and tried to use Darwinism to supplant religious faith. Unfortunately a lot of people refused to do so which led to some of the worst persecutions in Christian history.
